We welcome Adam Port’s Keinmusik to the Exclusive family

Exclusive are extremely happy to welcome Keinmusik to the promo family, with their fantastic new release from label boss, Adam Port!

Adam Port’s last release on Keinemusik went under the name “Chemistry”. Now with this single, it seems heʼs revealing some sort of continual paradigm, or at least an ongoing partiality for the chemical process. Itʼs called “Corrosive Love”.

This love of the corrosive, represents classic Acid-sounds, never before featured on Adam’s releases. Still, this piece is not just a trivial nostalgic tryout. It is more of a reworking of influences, being modelled into Portʼs modern, yet reserved trademark-sound that you will recognize instantly.

The track is growing subtly, in its build-up, but also when it comes to choosing its layout. The most distinct element without doubt are the vocals, sung by fellow producer Ruede Hagelstein. The chilled approach to Soul music, that he carries in his voice, makes them an exceptionally fitting leitmotif. You find Port allowing the repetitive patterns to grow, being accompanied by his variation of an acid line. He pushes expectations with its break, but still avoids an all too explicit and simple peak. Chances are, this is his most characteristic piece of work to date.

The Alex Dolby & Santos-remix on B1 is aiming more for the direct potential as it is for the reflective moments. Still, the vocals are centre of attention, but variation can be found in the percussive layout of the mix. One motive, two congenial approaches – KM009.
