Steve Parker hails from the Portugese city of Porto. Having risen through the techno ranks, he has firmly established himself as a leading light in the DJ world. The strength of his productions have seen him signed to leading labels including Weave, Synewave, Dubfire’s SCI+TEC, Umek’s 1605 and DJ Pierre’s Afro Acid.
His productions mirror his own DJ sets, touching on house and techno, all delivered with a trademark drive and 
explosiveness. His work has already received the remix touch from artists including Alan Fitzpatrick, Kyle Geiger, Xpansul and the Quartz team of Paul Ritch & Okain, and has received huge support from a vast selection of the world’s top names.
Its that same Quartz team that have invited Steve to make his debut on the label. His fantastic double-header of “Get In On” and “Systematic” being the perfect spring tonic to warm us from our winter blues. The A side sees Steve in filtered-house mode. Pulsing synths, rasping hats and funk-driven bassline leading the way. On the B the groove-quota is equally high, with Steve taking a techier path.
With both cuts here dressed to impress. The recent launch of his own Spark Musik label and more high profile releases already lined up. 2011 is looking to be a Steve’s most successful year to date.
